The grading standard

What Grade D means in liquidation

Does not work.

D
The definition

What the inspector tests for

For parts, repair, or projects, and priced as that.

Final sale

Final sale. The condition is described in detail before bidding, and the price reflects it.

Who buys this grade

It does not work, and the page says so first. Parts harvesters, repair shops and project builders buy this grade deliberately, which is why it exists as a grade instead of as a quiet omission.

Computed under QC Standards Book 3, effective 2026-10-03. The grade is derived from the inspector’s answers, never chosen from a list.
