Acceptable Use
Version 1.2 · registry edition 2 · in effect from 2026-10-03
Acceptable use policy
This policy forms part of the terms of service at /terms and the buyer terms at /terms/buyer.
No fraud or manipulation. No false identities, no duplicate accounts, no payment fraud, no bid manipulation, no collusion to suppress prices, and no bidding on goods you or anyone connected to you consigned.
No automation. No third-party bots, scripts or sniping tools. The maximum-bid feature built into the auction platform is permitted, as is assistive technology used as an accessibility accommodation.
No scraping or misuse of content. No bulk extraction of listings, prices, images or data, and no commercial reuse of our content without written permission.
No abuse of people. No threats, harassment or abuse of staff or other users, online or at the warehouse. Pickup runs in an active industrial space: follow staff direction, no entry beyond the pickup area, no pets, and children remain under your supervision in the pickup area only.
No unlawful use. No use of the services to launder funds, traffic prohibited goods, evade sanctions, or break any law.
No interference. No probing, disrupting or overloading our systems, and no attempts to bypass access controls or fraud controls.
Consequences. Breach of this policy can lead to bid cancellation, order cancellation, account suspension or closure, the consequences of the pickup deadline set out in the buyer terms, and recovery of losses caused. We enforce this policy reasonably and will tell you what action we took.
