The grading standard

What Grade C means in liquidation

Heavy use, or something that affects how it works.

C
The definition

What the inspector tests for

Heavy signs of use, damage that affects use, or a missing part that affects use. Priced to reflect it.

Final sale

Final sale. The condition is described in detail before bidding, and the price reflects it.

Who buys this grade

Heavy use or missing pieces, still working. Repairers, landlords and people furnishing a workshop buy here, because the thing does its job and the price reflects the wear rather than hiding it.

Computed under QC Standards Book 3, effective 2026-10-03. The grade is derived from the inspector’s answers, never chosen from a list.
