Meet Bo, the Bid Boss assistant
Bo is the assistant on bidbossinc.ca. What it helps with, what it cannot do, and how to reach a person instead.
Bo is the assistant on this site. It is a virtual assistant, not a person, and it answers from Bid Boss's own published pages: the same fees, grades, pickup and policy pages you can read yourself. Everything it tells you is something the site already says out loud.
What Bo can help with
Bo is most useful for the questions that have a published answer. How the auctions work and where the bidding happens. What a lot actually costs once the premium, the handling fee and the tax are added. What each grade means and how far we tested. How pickup is booked, what to bring, and what shipping costs. How the wallet pays an invoice. What can be consigned, how consignment differs from a buyout, and when consignors get paid.
Ask in whatever words come naturally. Bo matches what you mean, not the exact phrasing, and it will point you at the page the answer lives on so you can read the rest.
What Bo cannot do
Bo cannot see your account. It has no access to your orders, your invoices, your bids, your wallet balance or your shipments, and it will not guess at them. A confident answer about your specific order would be worse than no answer. Those live in your account, behind sign-in, where the real numbers are.
Bo cannot look up a lot, tell you who won something, or say what an item sold for.
Bo does not give legal, tax or financial advice. It can tell you what our published terms say; it cannot tell you what they mean for your situation.
And Bo will not invent a number. If the site does not publish a figure, Bo says so rather than producing one that sounds right.
Reaching a person
Any time you would rather talk to someone, use the button in the chat to send the conversation to a person, or write to us from the contact page. Your question comes across with you so you are not retyping it, you get a reference you can quote, and a person replies.
Nothing you type to Bo signs you up for anything.
Didn’t find what you need?
Ask us directly. Opening a request gives you a reference you can quote, and a person replies to it.
